Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether there is a contagion effect on the stock exchanges among ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines) during 2001.1 - 2018.5 period using the monthly return data of the five ASEAN-5 stock exchanges. This study uses granger causality test to see the direction of mutual influence that indicates the existence of contagion effect. The results revealed that the Indonesian stock exchange has a mutually influential relationship with the Thai stock exchange.

Abstract

This study raised concerns about the effect of working facilities and competencies to job satisfaction and its impact on performance. The research was conducted within the scope of the District Muara Bulian precisely on the entire village.The performance of employees is among the key issues are constantly faced by the organization management. Therefore, among the tasks of the manager is a very important move employees to contribute to the success of the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine and determine the influence of working facilities, competencies, job satisfaction and performance. Influence of working facilities, competencies, job satisfaction and employee performance tested either directly or indirectly.To examine issues directly above the survey conducted by distributing questionnaires to employees village office. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed qualitatively and verification. Data analysis tool made by using Path Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the working facilities and competence have an influence on job satisfaction and have an impact on performance, both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of work motivationon organizational commitment. This research is done on Bakti BCA internship employee who work as teller and customer services of PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk.main branch office of Jambi amounted at 60 people. Technique used in sampling is census, where all of the population is used as sample. Analysis unit used is simple linear regression. The research result that work motivation influence positively and significantly on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Along with the development of an increasingly modern era, information technology is growing very rapidly. This is because all information required can be obtained easily and quickly via the internet. The development of the internet today not only serves as a medium of information, but the internet can also be utilized for the benefit of the business as a business online using a service-based website. The website-based services in many of the important components in it to achieve success in business, one of which is the quality of service (E-Service Quality). The company provides e-service quality the higher the customer then it will give rise to customer satisfaction, and in a long period of time will certainly generate customer loyalty. E-service quality is defined as the assessment and evaluation of the quality of the overall service delivery to consumers in a virtual market. Word of satisfaction or satisfaction derived from the Latin "satis" which means good enough, sufficient, and "facio" which means do or make. Contentment is a feeling happy or disappointed someone arising due to compare performance percepted products or results against the expectations of the customer. Customer loyalty or customer loyalty is the commitment of customers to a brand, stores or suppliers based on a very positive trait purchase in the long run. Buka Lapak is one of the shop on line which is currently enough many have customers in Indonesia. Although the Buka LapakĀ  already quite well-established as retailers on line but with a growing number of online stores are popping up then the Buka Lapak need to keep on doing the evaluation in order to remain able to compete with any other online store. From the analysis results can be summed up as that of E-service quality effect directly against customer loyalty, consumers Buka Lapak Indonesia, E-service quality positive effect towards customer satisfaction of consumers Buka Lapak, Indonesia E-service quality to customer loyalty through the customer satisfaction of consumers Buka Lapak Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of training effectiveness, in improving employee performance towards the organization, the method used in this study is to look at theoretical theories related to the study of the impact and influence of training effectiveness on employee performance in the organization, the results of this study explain that training is applied to employees can have an effect on improving the ability and competence of employees, so that ultimately can affect the performance of employees in the organization.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility on earnings management. The population in this research is the pharmaceutical company on the Indonesia stock exchange. Samples are selected using a purposive sampling method. The data used in this research is 6 companies for the period of 2012-2016. The method of data analysis used multiple linear regression. The result of this research showed that Corporate Social Responsibility is not a significant effect and have a positive relationship towards the earnings management.

Abstract

Many factors affect the relationship of management and performance both in the context of profit and non-profit organization. One of the factors is culture. Researches have shown that culture may mediate or moderate the relationship. This current research investigates the moderating role of culture on the relationship of performance management and working performance of lecturers of Batanghari University. For this, a survey was conducted by distributing a questionnaire to 36 respondents randomly selected. MRA (moderated regression analysis) was used to analyze the data. The simple regression analysis (before culture added) found that performance management practices have a significant effect on lecturer performance with 67.5% of determinant coefficient. MRA analysis (after culture added), the determinant coefficient becomes 69%, meaning there is an increase of 1.5%. F-test shows that Sig. = 0.000 is smaller than ? = 0.05, indicating that the increase is considered significant. From this analysis, it can be concluded that culture significantly moderates performance of lecturers. Then, it is suggested that culture need to be strengthened in order to improve the relationship of performance management practices and performance of lecturers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of compensation and organizational culture either partially or jointly on performace experts at consulting services firm in the province of Jambi. The population in this reseach totalled of 532 people expert at consulting service firm in the of Jambi. The method used in this reseach is a descriptive survey method and sample survey with the spread of eksplanatori at least for three variables as much as 200 respondents. Based on the result of the hypothesis, thought to compensation and organizational culture partially or jointly affect performance experts. The result that explains, the competence variable on the performance of expert is 0.48 and the organizational culture variable on the performance of expert 0.37 to the performance of experts. The effect of jointly compensation (KS) and organizational culture (BO) on the performance of expert (KA) is 0.6053?0.60 or is R = 0.60 magnitude influence with the influence of 60 %

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors affecting the capital structure of the company. The sample companies are companies incorporated in the Indonesia Stock Exchange's LQ45 period 2012-2017. Bound variable used in this research is the structure of assets, while non used is the company's size, profitability, liquidity, operating leverage and sales growth. Test tool used multiple regression test tools IE. The results obtained i.e. There are five free variables that influence partially against variable capital structure i.e. variable structure of assets, company size, profitability, liquidity and sales growth. While the operating leverage variable have no effect partially against the capital structure.

Abstract

This study tested the influential factors in the estimation of stock return and compare the three models of asset pricing, i.e., Capital Asset Pricing Model, Three Factors Pricing models, and Four Factors Pricing Model. The purpose of this research is to obtain a model of asset pricing can provide estimated stock return with better among three types of models. The research sample is stocks LQ45 in Indonesia stock exchange (idx) during the period of 2005-2016. Regression analysis performed on variables, excess return market, size, book to market, and momentum is against the return of the monthly stocks fit each model to know the influence of variables and the feasibility of the model with the adjusted R square. Different test ANOVA is performed to obtain the standard deviation of each model and difference significance between the three models. The results showed: (1) factors in excess of market return, size premium, value premium, and momentum factors effect on stock return, (2) based on independent variables constituting influence, CAPM, Three Factors Pricing models or Four Factors Pricing Model can capture the behavior of stock prices on issuers who are members of group LQ45 on Indonesia stock market, (3) based on the adjusted R Square and standard deviation, Three Factors Pricing Model better than the CAPM and the Four Factors Pricing Model better than Three Factors Pricing Model, but all three models have a weak explanatory power as well as the results of significance of difference test that is not significant, so that the benefits of these models to estimated return expectations of stock market Indonesia is still questionable.
